Benalmádena
Benalmadena is a municipality of the province of Málaga consisting of three main urban areas; Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel. Malaga is about 12 km to the west and Marbella is 42 km to the east.
Benalmádena is a popular holiday destination just 15-minute drive from Málaga airport. It has over 10 kms of sandy beaches, a vibrant town centre and lots of attractions; including Tivoli World, Selwo Marina, Sealife Aquarium, Butterfly Park, and the Cable car.
The beaches
The 10 kms of beaches, to the east the beaches are sandy and flat and to the west they are a little rockier. The rockier beaches are popular for fishing, water sports and diving.

The Port of Benalmádena is one of the most beautiful of the Costa del Sol and has twice received the title of “The Best Marina in the World”. This is a beautiful port and residential complex.
At night there is an incredible atmosphere, some of the terraces of the very exclusive restaurants get crowded, the port and the boats light up and the place shines.
Sports and outdoor activities
Hiking in Monte Calamorro, water sports, horse riding, sailing, windsurfing, padel and tennis are some of the sports you can do in Benalmádena. For golfers the Benalmádena Golf and Torrequebrada Golf are embedded right in the town.
