25 km from Malaga International Airport is the town of Fuengirola. The train station is right in the town centre. It is an all year lively town with all facilities and services you need. Fuengirola is also one of the most popular destinations for tourists, as it has some of the best infrastructures on the Costa del Sol.
The beaches
Fuengirola is well known for its long stretch of sandy beaches that attract sun worshippers from all over Europe. 8 km of beaches are integrated directly with the town centre. Some of Fuengirola's top beaches are Los Boliches Beach, Beach de Santa Amalia, Playa de Torreblanca, Playa del Castillo.

At 10 minutes from the centre of Fuengirola are six 18-hole golf courses. In addition, in a radius of only 30 km there are some twenty other perfectly equipped golf courses.
Places to visit
The Biopark zoo is a popular place to visit with children.
South of the city center, the medieval Moorish Sohail Castle towers over the coastline, and hosts concerts, festivals and a medieval market in summer.
Eating out
From street market food, traditional tapas bars to high end cousine. The Paseo Marítimo de Fuengirola is one of the liveliest promenades you will come across, both in winter and summer. It is the ideal place for eating out and nightlife, on account of the number of bars and pubs it plays host to.
